Rosemary

Rosemary is an evergreen shrub of the mint family, mainly grown in Europe, Morocco, Tunisia, etc. The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the leaves. Its scent is fresh and invigorating herbal, with a strong camphor-like note that pierces the nose and a slightly resinous woody scent. When used in citrus perfumes, it emphasizes the freshness of the citrus while also adding complexity. Rosemary was also included as a main ingredient in the historically famous perfume "Hungarian Water," once used by Queen Elisabeth of Hungary. It is said that after using this, she became reborn in a completely different way.
