Geranium

Geraniums have small, cute pink flowers, but the fragrances extracted from geraniums are not from the flowers but from the leaves and stems. They are native to the Cape region of South Africa and are now cultivated all over the world. Their scent is similar to that of roses, but they do not have the gorgeousness or rich sweetness of roses, and are characterized by a minty green scent that is strong and green. This is because they contain citronellol and geraniol, which are the main components of roses and characterize their fresh, green scent.
